I had about a pound of Lump crab meat leftover from Christmas Brunch, and at $13.99/lb, I could not let it go another day in the fridge for fear that it would start to spoil. I decided to try my hand a making crab cakes. I am trying to only cook what I have [...]
We open our family presents on Christmas Eve at my mom’s every year, so the big Christmas feast is held at her house and I am off the hook for cooking… at least that’s what Julian would prefer. Since I can’t let a holiday cooking opportunity pass, I decided to do a Christmas brunch [...]
We live in south Florida, and so we aren’t dealing with the snow issues most of our Northeast friends are dealing with. Regardless, it is sub 60 degrees here in West Palm (yes, brrrrr), we have a HUGE bowl of left over Halloween candy, and our the kids are looking for some Hot Chocolate. [...]

Shannon dealt some leftover meatloaf today from this recipe and it was fantastic! She served the meatloaf on toasted rye bread with melted cheddar cheese on top and it was to die for! Better even than the original. The secret of any good meatloaf, it gets better with time and alternate preparations!
Shannon, I made this as much like you did as I could. Yummy and adding cheese was really tasty in this meatloaf. I really wish I could help you name the pepper that looked like a green chili pepper but I am not very good at knowing one kind of pepper from another. I do like how you grow your own herbs inside so you can have fresh thyme, basl, etc. I am really considering getting that AeroGarden that grows even cherry tomatoes. I have read really great customer reviews.
I loved your meatloaf recipe, your kids helping you make Spaghetti & Meatballs was darling. They have a very good mommy with lots of patience in helping them learn to cook.
If you can, will you someday make a video on Beef Stroganoff?
Even if you cannot could you post your recipe here. I subscribed to your youtube video’s and next I ant to make your spaghetti&meatballs. They look scrumptious. Thanks again for letting me watch you cook. laura
